It was thrilling to be included in the WOMEN OF APPALACHIA exhibition at the Dairy Barn Art Center in Athens, Ohio during January-March, 2021. Fieldscape Triptych was SOLD during the run of the exhibition. Below are videos of my artist talk, as well as a virtual walk through of the Dairy Barn Art Center gallery.
The fall of 2020 was very exciting for me. I was included in two FOTOFOCUS exhibitions. The first exhibition was ILLUMINATION at the Dayton Society of Artists located at 48 High Street, Dayton, Ohio. I had three pieces above accepted for the exhibition; Field Study Series, Reflections on a Field and In Passing.
The second FOTOFOCUS exhibition was at the Dairy Barn Art Center in Athens, Ohio. Below is my artist talk for WIDEOPEN. An added bonus was the inclusion of my artwork in the WIDEOPEN: Excellence in Photography exhibition catalogue:

It has been a busy time since my last post. During that period, several shows have come and gone, as well as a move to a different studio. It was a hard decision to leave our space in Front Street Studios, but we needed a change. Currently, we are located only a few blocks from our previous location - but, wow, what a move. Thankfully, I had lots of help from family and friends transporting loads of work and materials - including many, many boxes of sticks and leaves! We moved from a large spacious warehouse studio to a single room in a beautiful historical house in the St. Anne’s District. The house is home to the Dayton Society of Artists, which is super exciting. More is to come, but we are thrilled to have this special space now.
